To increase potato yields on soils with low fertility, gardeners use a variety of fertilizers that are applied in holes when planting. I want to tell you about a mixture that perfectly feeds the tubers and protects them from rot and wireworms. To prepare it, you need to take an ordinary plastic bucket.
The first ingredient is mustard cake, which is a good food for potato roots and at the same time protects against rot and wireworms. Experienced gardeners claim that one kg of dry mustard cake can replace 100 kg of manure. For the mixture you need to take 2 kg of mustard cake.
The second ingredient is Azofoska, also known as Nitrofoska. This is an excellent spring fertilizer for potatoes, containing nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in equal amounts.
With Nitrofoska, tubers grow a lot on poor soils or in areas where potatoes are grown year after year. For the mixture, you need to take 2 kg of dried Nitrofoska granules and mix them with mustard cake.
This mixture is more than enough for 1 to 1.5 hectares of potato plantations. You need to add 1 tablespoon of the mixture when planting potatoes in each hole. This will ensure that the harvest is always good.
