Orchideenpflege
Orchids are flowers that require special care to develop and form new roots and leaves. Water is fundamental for the growth and development of an orchid plant . Since they are tropical plants, they need a good dose of light and humidity.
Some plant varieties know how to adapt well to different climatic conditions. Regarding lighting, it must be said that although they need a lot of light, they should never be exposed to direct sunlight.
Water is necessary for any type of plant because it allows its vital functions. In the case of orchids, it is important to remember that it must be administered in the correct dose and frequency. The substrate of an orchid must always be moist. Never exceed the watering so as not to create stagnant water and cause the roots of the plant to rot .
Beautiful orchids can be grown naturally, with special fertilizers and targeted care . To obtain beautiful flowers and always have healthy orchids, you can introduce some simple procedures.

Blooming orchids
The orchid usually blooms once a year, but due to its elegant buds, they last a long time. In general, it can be said that the flowering of the orchid is related to several factors. To favor the flowering of this beautiful tropical plant, the ideal temperature is between 20 and 25 degrees.
An orchid needs many hours of light, preferably filtered through a curtain in the house. Depending on the type of orchid, it is therefore important to ensure the right amount of light, humidity and fertilizer.
There are some species of orchids, such as the well-known Phalaenopsis or butterfly orchid , whose flowers last from three to five months. To give birth to new buds and new flowers after flowering, simply cut the dry branches and stems in places where the nodes are empty.

Methods for propagating branches and seedlings
The first thing you need to do to have ever-blooming orchids with seedlings and branches is to take a clove of garlic and cut it into small pieces. The chopped garlic should then be placed in a glass container with about 300 ml of water. After closing the container with a cap, the garlic should soak for about 4 hours.
In the meantime, it is necessary to take an egg, make a small hole at one end, empty it and make another hole on the opposite side. The emptied eggshell should be washed well with water. At this point, just take an orchid branch and make a diagonal cut at one end to facilitate water absorption.
After the water is filtered with garlic, the latter should be transferred to a glass container. The orchid stem should be immersed in garlic-filtered water for about twenty minutes. After this time, the branch should be cleaned with cotton. Then you need to take some musk, which should be moistened with garlic water and then squeezed. After filling the eggshell with moss, just stick the orchid branch into it.
To finish, you need to take a plastic bottle and cut off the neck of the bottle to make another container. After placing the neck of the bottle on the bottom of the plastic container, the eggshell with the orchid should be placed. After adding water, close the container with the orchid stem in the shell.
After four weeks, you can continue changing the water, and after about two months, you will have new leaves and healthy roots. The new orchid seedling can finally be transplanted into a clear pot with soil.
