Feeding strawberries in April with a non-standard fertilizer can be the key to a rich harvest. This method has been tested by me for 6 years and shows impressive results every time. If you are aiming for a rich strawberry harvest, be sure to use this fertilizer on warm spring days, when the air temperature reaches at least +15 ° C. I usually carry out this procedure in the second half of April or, depending on weather conditions, shortly before its end.

The main component of the fertilizer is dry yeast, which acts as a catalyst for the activation of soil microflora. This process accelerates the transformation of organic matter in the bed and makes trace elements available for absorption by the root system of the strawberry.
To prepare the fertilizer, dilute a standard bag of dry yeast in a 3-liter jar, add 3 tablespoons of sugar and leave to ferment for a day. Then pour the infusion into a 10-liter bucket and add well water without chlorine.

To enhance the effect, I add a drop of Baikal M1 concentrate to the infusion – a well-known EM preparation, which in combination with yeast can double the yield of strawberries. I also pour a glass of kefir or milk into the solution to activate beneficial fungi in the soil.

After the introduction of this solution, the minerals are converted from an oxide form to a chelated form, preferably for plant nutrition. This fertilization doubles the strawberry yield thanks to optimal nutrition and stimulation of root crop growth.
