Roses  are perhaps the most common and popular flowers. Their plant is often grown in the garden, but for those who do not have large areas, there is the possibility of keeping them on the  balcony  or terrace as well.

To enjoy and appreciate its magnificent  flowers  , this plant requires special attention, especially when kept in an environment such as the balcony.

Let’s see how best to make them bloom.

  1. Cleaning:  The leaves of the rose plant must also be cleaned, also to avoid pest infestations. To do this, prepare a solution with 30 grams of Marseille soap (flakes or grated) and 500 ml of water and use a cleaning cloth. You can do this regularly, for example every 3 weeks.
  2. Light: Sunlight  is a relevant factor when it comes to flowers. The rose plant in particular needs enough direct light every day (4-5 hours), so place it in a bright spot on your terrace.
  3. Fertilizers –  there is no doubt that a plant needs strength to bloom. This is thanks to the nutrients that can be supplemented by organic fertilizers such as coffee grounds: spread them on the soil and moisten them.
  4. Pruning:  After the first flowering, at the beginning of spring, dry and weak branches should be removed to ensure that the plant focuses all its energy on the growth of new buds.
