The first method involves dissolving 1 tablespoon of ground red or black pepper in a bucket of water and spraying the plants before rinsing. The active ingredients in the pepper will help repel carrot flies and protect the plants.
Another method is to use a solution of potassium permanganate. After the second thinning, at the beginning or after July 10, water the seedlings with water with boric acid and potassium permanganate. In 10 liters of water, dilute 2-3 grams of potassium permanganate and the same amount of boric acid. We water the plants with this solution. After 17-20 days, the procedure must be repeated.
