Everyone knows that some plants just don’t get along with each other. If you plant them in nearby flower beds in your garden, you won’t expect a good harvest. But there are also those that get along well with each other. At the same time, they help each other grow. Our favorite tomatoes also have plants whose proximity helps to increase the yield of tomatoes.

Tomatoes are demanding neighbors. Sometimes it is difficult to choose a plant that will not interfere with their growth. For example, cabbage and potatoes should not be planted next to each other. They have the same diseases as tomatoes. Such a neighborhood will not only not help you get a good harvest, but will also destroy the tomato bushes themselves.

So what should we choose as neighbors for our favorite tomatoes? It turns out that such plants exist. Cucumbers, for example, will not prevent them from growing. But such a neighborhood can hardly be called ideal. They will not interfere, but they will not help either. When growing in a greenhouse, you should not plant tomatoes and cucumbers nearby either. These plants need different conditions to produce a crop and are diametrically opposed.

There is also such an option as onions. If you plant these plants nearby, the tomatoes will not get sick. Swinging the onion repels pests. But here, too, there are some nuances. In such a neighborhood, the onions themselves will suffer, and you will not get a good harvest of onions.
