For successful growth and development of seedlings, it is important to start fertilizing already on the fifth day after emergence, advise experienced gardeners. Today I will share with you a recipe for an effective fertilizer made exclusively from natural ingredients available in every home. This is a banana peel preparation to which iodine is added, the value of which is often underestimated. This fertilizer significantly promotes the growth of seedlings.

The main advantage of this method is the availability of ingredients and their absolute safety, which eliminates the risk of harming others. Use only ripe banana peels for feeding, avoiding dark and overripe fruits.

This shell is saturated with useful microelements for plants, in particular potassium, which helps seedlings to better adapt to home conditions. The shell also contains magnesium, calcium, phosphorus and a small amount of nitrogen, which plants quickly absorb due to the activity of soil bacteria.

To prepare the fertilizer, take 1 liter of water, add a banana cut into pieces and leave for three days. After infusion, the solution is filtered and a drop of iodine is added to it to prevent overstretching of the seedling stems in non-ideal lighting conditions.

The iodine infusion is mixed and used to water the seedlings without additional dilution, 1-2 teaspoons per plant. This natural fertilizer not only stimulates the growth and development of seedlings, but also strengthens them and provides a better start to the future harvest.
