Mice and rats are almost the main owners of household plots in winter. They are able to penetrate any corner if they smell food. This includes not only furniture and cabinets, but also cellars and other fruit and vegetable storage areas.
The problem is not only that rodents can eat the food grown by the gardener, but also that they can transmit diseases, which makes the consumption of such products unsafe. However, it is not recommended to use chemicals to control rodents in storage facilities.
