Rosemary is a popular aromatic herb that is inevitable on baked potatoes and roasts. But there are many other ways to take advantage of its properties and intense fragrance. Let’s get to know them together.

Rosemary is a very appreciated aromatic plant. It belongs to the Lamiaceae family and grows wild in the Mediterranean. It is excellent in roasts and is  one of the classic flavors used in cooking . It also goes very well with  potatoes  and  legumes , such as chickpeas. By the way, it is also a very  easy plant to grow . You should always have it close at hand, in a corner of the garden or in a jar to keep on the balcony or on the kitchen windowsill.

Since it is very durable, it does not need much care. As mentioned, a few sprigs of rosemary are used to  season roasts and meats such as roast beef cooked in the oven  . A pinch of aghetti looks great on baked potatoes. Many then use it to flavor salt and oil.

Try not only oil and salt, but also rosemary

As we have already mentioned, flavored oil and salt are not the only ways to obtain rosemary-scented condiments. For example, let’s see how to use them to prepare a  creamy sauce  that can be used instead of mustard, ketchup and mayonnaise. Place in the fridge and let  marinate for 3 days  . After this time, our rosemary cream is ready  to spread on  bruschetta, croutons and sandwich bread . Also great in  sandwiches and wraps  and  with dry white meats  like chicken and turkey.
