Anthuriums can have small problems that prevent the plant from flowering as it should: here we explain how to solve them.

Anthurium

Anthurium is a plant that is widespread all over the world and loved by everyone. It is very easy to grow, but you have to be careful, as it is possible that problems may arise during its development or that it may have few flowers. In order for the Anthurium to be lush and full of flowers, you will have to put into practice a  trick  that few people know about: let’s find out how to make it beautiful.

How to grow an anthurium: all the details

In order for the anthurium to bloom properly, we must make sure that the plant has all the right environmental conditions. To start with, you will certainly need to use good soil and water it at the right time and frequently. The ambient temperature should always be  above 18 degrees. Obviously, do not forget to expose it to light and always keep it with high ambient humidity. In summer, this plant should be kept in front of a window that still protects it from  direct light , however, in winter it needs to receive as much light as possible.

During fertilization,  phosphorus  and potassium should never be missing .  If you take these precautions, your Anthurium will surely bloom all year round. But there is a chance that this plant will experience problems during flowering and that only a few flowers will bloom. Precisely for this reason, it is necessary to put into practice a trick that is also used by gardeners, namely, you must use special, completely natural water: let’s find out what it is.

The water to use

The main reasons why anthurium does not bloom is because it does not receive light due to an incorrect  position  or because it does not live in the right environmental conditions. We remind you that fertilization is also very important, in fact, you must water it with a specific water that you can create at home in 2 minutes. We are talking about red beet water that you can create at home in two minutes. It takes very little. First, take this root that you can easily find in the supermarket and cut it into slices. Then, pour the beet pieces into a blender with  500 ml of water.

Blend it and you will get a liquid mixture that you will have to filter through a strainer. Put everything in a glass jar so that if you have any left over, it will be kept the right way. Now, all you have to do is water your Anthurium with  this water  you have made. In a short time you will notice an absurd change. Obviously, for this simple trick to work, remember to take all the precautions we explained above. Beetroot has several properties,  it is remineralizing and restorative,  therefore excellent for the well-being of the plant.
