The secret to a successful cucumber harvest lies in using a simple and effective remedy: miracle powder. Instead of having to deal with bitter, yellowish cucumbers, I discovered a simple trick that always brings great results.
My faithful helper in the cottage is ash. Some gardeners are wary of this fertilizer, fearing its improper use. And this is fair, because the reckless use of ash can lead to soil oxidation and negatively affect the harvest. However, if the ash is used correctly, it becomes an indispensable tool for growing healthy and strong plants in the garden.
This is how ash becomes the first ingredient in our miracle dust. To prepare it, he needed a kilo of mustard powder. This amount is enough to process all the cucumber beds.
The recipe is very simple:
- 1 kg mustard powder
- 1 kilo of ash
Mix the ingredients, take a bowl with the mixture and head out into the garden. For each cucumber bush, simply add 4-5 tablespoons of powder.
But when is the best time to apply fertilizer? My advice is to apply between waterings. It is necessary to spray the wet soil so that the dust does not spread, and then water the bushes. The roots of the cucumbers immediately begin to absorb the useful substances that mustard is rich in. Mustard powder contains protein and fiber, and is also an excellent insect repellent.
Both components of the powder act in two directions: they enrich the soil and saturate the plants with vitamins. I use the miracle powder not only for cucumbers, but also for peppers, cabbage, raspberries and potatoes. If you spray the soil with this mixture before planting and loosen the top layer a little, you will get an excellent harvest.
I apply fertilizer every two weeks throughout the season. During the growth and development of plants, I use several kilograms of powder. As a result, I harvest cubes, and all vegetables, berries and fruits taste delicious, look attractive and are in excellent health. And as a bonus, there are no pests in my garden!
