The reasons for apical rot in tomatoes can be different, such as insufficient watering, sudden changes in temperature, improper feeding or calcium deficiency. But, of course, the main reason is the lack of calcium in tomato bushes, which can occur due to waterlogged or dry soil, as well as hot or cold weather. If the bushes do not have enough calcium, the fruits on them begin to rot.

To combat such rot, you can use calcium nitrate. In the spring, when preparing the soil for growing vegetables in a greenhouse, you can add calcium nitrate to the soil.
