The worst thing you can do with a Spathiphyllum pot is to take it out of sunlight. That’s exactly what my neighbor did, placing the plant on the nightstand at the back of the room. On the ground floor, when the windows were already partially covered by trees and shrubs growing nearby, the flower simply started to wilt at some distance from the window.
It is sunlight that the plant needs most, and the first thing I did was put the pot on the windowsill. The flower should like it here – there is enough light, but there is no direct sunlight, the lilac bush under the window protects it.
Visiting my neighbor once again, I continued my action to save the plant, which was gradually recovering on the windowsill, and strongly recommended transplanting it into loose soil. The pot contained ordinary soil from the garden. Huddled together in a tight lump, but the flower does not like it. When transplanting, be sure to remove all diseased and damaged leaves and roots.
