For those who want to grow strong and healthy seedlings, I would like to share my experience with an extremely effective method of plant nutrition, which I have been using for the fourth year and which consistently brings excellent results. My choice is a sugar-based fertilizer.

Benefits of Glucose for Plants

Previously, it did not occur to me how useful sugar could be for seedlings until an agronomist friend introduced me to this method. Since then, I have become an indispensable supporter of this method of feeding. Sugar feeding contributes to the accelerated growth and development of plants, significantly strengthens their immunity and makes them less susceptible to diseases and adverse weather conditions.

The effectiveness of such fertilization is based on the high content of glucose in the sugar, which stimulates important biochemical processes in the life of plants and contributes to improving soil fertility.

Preparation and application of the solution

Preparing a sugar solution for fertilizing is not difficult. You need to dilute 4-5 tablespoons of sugar in a liter of warm water and mix thoroughly. This solution should be sprayed on seedlings, carrying out the procedure twice with an interval of 2 weeks.

It is important to approach feeding carefully, especially when the seedlings are still young and vulnerable. You can use a syringe or a small enema to avoid damaging the plants or their root system.

It is worth noting that this type of feeding is universal and is suitable not only for tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers, but also for other crops, as well as for indoor plants.
