Just one teaspoon is enough to protect your plants naturally and economically.
Having a terrace full of plants and flowers is definitely a dream for anyone who has a green thumb.
However, to have healthy and lush plants there are many aspects to take into account and to which we devote all our care. One of them is the possible infestation of parasites , insects (and not only) that attack plants to feed, thus weakening them.
If you have noticed the presence of these annoying “plant enemies”, do not worry. There are several specific products on the market, but for the most part they are industrial products.
Instead, you can use common ingredients that you definitely have at home. Have you ever left a bottle of milk in the fridge for several days past its expiration date ? Don’t throw it away, because it’s the right thing for you.
Let’s see how.
Necessary
- 500 ml of expired milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- gauze or cotton cloth
- funnel
- Spray
Proceedings
- Combine the milk and a teaspoon of garlic powder.
- Mix well, then let rest for 2 or 3 hours.
- Strain the mixture with cheesecloth and pour it into a spray container.
- Bathe the plant regularly: this way you protect it from pests.
