Spring feeding is very important for strawberries, because during this period it should be provided with all the trace elements it needs. The ideal option for this is the most common yeast. They contain a large amount of carbohydrates, B vitamins, minerals and carbohydrates. When yeast dissolves in water, special compounds are formed, thanks to which the development of roots is accelerated, and this is very important, especially if you have transplanted bushes. Thanks to yeast, strawberries receive a whole range of nutrients before they begin to bloom and bear fruit.

You can make fertilizer from both fresh and dry yeast.

If you are preparing a fertilizer from fresh yeast, you will need 500 grams of it. Heat 2.5 liters of water to 23°C and dissolve in it the yeast, which you previously rubbed so that it dissolves better. Leave it for 48 hours in a place where it is dark. Dilute the prepared concentrate in 20 liters of water. Water under the bush for 300-500 ml.

For dry yeast feeding, take two bags, pour them into warm water (2 cups) and add sugar (2 tablespoons). Leave for 4 hours in the heat and in the dark. Then dilute in a bucket of water at room temperature, stir. Pour 250 ml of fertilizer under the bush and two liters of clean water on top.

In this way, you can feed strawberries only three times per season: the first time in spring (from late April to early May), the second time at the very end of spring, before fruiting, the third time at the end of August, after the harvest is completed, to prepare the bushes for autumn.
