For the lush growth of onion greens, it is recommended to carefully cut off the top, and then soak it in a weak urea plant for 2-3 hours, using a teaspoon of urea per five liters of water. In the case when the goal is to grow a large onion, pruning should be avoided and the bulbs should be soaked in a pink solution of potassium permanganate at the same time, while it is not recommended to remove the greens from such bulbs.

When planting, it is important to ensure that a quarter of the bulb remains above the soil surface. When planting early, first deepen the bulb by 4-5 cm, and after the appearance of greenery, loosen the soil around it, making sure that the top of the bulb is visible.

Large bulbs and large sets tend to form arrows, which is due to the presence of a flower bud. A small set does not give an arrow because it does not have a flower bud.

Archery can occur due to improper storage – at a temperature between 8 and 18 degrees or by freezing.
