My grandmother always planted carrots this way, and she was an expert in gardening. Now I sow carrots this way and in a few days I get friendly shoots of the crop.

Exactly ten days before planting carrots, you need to tie the seeds in a piece of cloth, but do not squeeze them. The resulting bag should be free. In the garden, you should choose a place where no one will step.

In this place, make a depression of about 30 cm and place a cloth with seeds in it and sprinkle it with soil. In order not to lose the place where the seeds will later be buried, mark it.

Cover the area where the seeds are stored. This will prevent the soil from drying out and becoming waterlogged when it rains. After ten days, remove the bag with the seeds. They will germinate.

Now you can sow them. To ensure that the seeds are clearly visible on the ground and stick to my hands, I dust them with starch.

The seeds should not be kept in the soil for longer than ten days, otherwise the sprouts will grow too large and break when planted.

Grooves should be made on the prepared beds. Water abundantly and spread the germinated seeds on them. Sprinkle with soil.

Make sure the soil doesn’t dry out, but don’t over-moisten it. In a few days you’ll see friendly carrot shoots.
